DMCA Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
PawDose respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown request using the process below. We also take seriously any false claims — abusing this process may have consequences.
What Is DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. law that provides a process for copyright holders to request removal of infringing content from online platforms. We comply with valid DMCA takedown notices in good faith.
Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on their behalf) and believe content on PawDose infringes your copyright, please send us a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your contact information — full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number
- Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the work you believe has been infringed (or a link to where your original work can be found)
- Identification of the infringing content — provide the specific URL(s) or page location(s) on PawDose where the infringing content appears
- A statement of good faith belief — a statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement of accuracy — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
Notices that are missing required information may not be acted upon. We reserve the right to request additional verification.

What Happens After You Submit
When we receive a valid DMCA notice, here's what happens:
- We will review the notice for completeness
- If valid, we will remove or disable access to the claimed infringing content promptly
- We will notify the user who posted the content (if applicable) that it has been removed
- That user may submit a counter-notice if they believe the removal was in error
Counter-Notice Process
If content you posted was removed and you believe this was a mistake (for example, you have permission or the content falls under fair use), you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@pawdose.com. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
- Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content after 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action to prevent restoration.
Repeat Infringers
PawDose has a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright or other intellectual property rights.
False Claims
Be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing (or that material was removed by mistake) may be subject to liability for damages. If you're not sure whether content infringes your rights, consult an attorney before submitting a notice.
